|maintenance history| Focussing on bioinformatics, plant physiology and biochemistry, I graduated at Darmstadt Technical University in 2007. While working in the bioinformatics group of Prof. Dr. Marc-Thorsten Hütt, I wrote my diploma thesis, discussing the "correlation-based signatures of microorganisms". Please find more information in my curriculum vitae. |key activities| Since December 2007, I'm PhD student at the Max Planck Institute of Molecular Plant Physiologie in the systemsbiology group of Dr. Oliver Ebenhöh. Research concentration is the procedure of DNA replication, especially the function and the effect of PCNA (proliferating cell nuclear antigen). |main focus of attention| PCNA is a protein that acts as a stationary loading platform during DNA replication and repair. These different functions of a single protein will be discussed by mathematical descriptions. For these analysis we designed diverse models, to depict the various functions. |
